Service Description

Bring your favorite pair of jeans or any item of clothing you'd like to mend, patch, or embellish using simple, utilitarian techniques & materials. A new trend in sustainable fashion, using visible mending to fix any well-loved & worn clothing will prolong the life of your wardrobe and enhance its character at the same time! If you have any favorite materials you would like to use as patches or special add-ons, please bring those but thread, needles, and some patching materials will be provided to start your projects. If you don't have anything with holes in it, just bring a favorite pair of jeans or other clothing item to add modern patches or a hand-stitched embellishment onto! (3 hours of instruction)

Cancellation Policy

Registration and Payment: Full payment is required. Minimum Enrollment: Classes usually require a minimum number of students. If the shop cancels the class due to low enrollment you will receive a refund. Copyright Rules: If your class requires a book or pattern, each student will need their own copy. Books and patterns may not be shared per federal copyright law. Cancellations: To receive a full refund, registration must be cancelled 7 days before the class/workshop date. No Shows: No refunds or class makeups are given for not showing up for class. TINT Rescheduling/Cancellations: TINT reserves the right to cancel, change dates/times and change instructors due to insufficient enrolment, scheduling conflicts, or emergencies. TINT also reserves the right to cancel the registration or request the withdrawal of any individual from classes and events for reasons due to the health, safety, or welfare of the group or participant. Class Etiquette and Rules Show up on time. Be prepared. Be respectful of others. Turn off volume on cell phones. Take calls and texting outside. Be a good student. Have fun! Guests and Children: Unenrolled guests, children, or pets are not permitted in the classroom space. Scents and Allergies: Please avoid strong perfumes, lotions, foods with common allergens, or heavy products out of consideration for others with allergies and sensitivities.
