TINT is a destination for modern makers in the DMV area. Founded in 2019, in Falls Church VA, we cater to all manner of textile and fiber arts. Knitting, Quilting, Sewing, Spinning, and Weaving are just the tip of the crafty iceberg. We are here to provide inspiration, education, and community.
Tint is tucked away in the heart of Falls Church on Broad Street and can be a little tricky to find so there are instructions HERE

TINT - A Modern Makerspace opened its doors on September 13, 2019 as part of a new generation of craft stores. Aiming to span the vast landscape of textile and fiber arts, TINT is a special space for the modern maker who is interested in learning, practicing, or enhancing the crafts of knitting, quilting, spinning, weaving, crochet, embroidery, punch needle, and much more. Equal parts community, education, and inspiration, I know you’ll find a home amongst other makers at TINT. Once my mother-in-law taught me how to knit in 2005, it quickly became the gateway drug for me as I wanted to learn ALL the fiber and textile skills as soon as humanly possible. And after 15 years of making everything I could find the time for, I felt strongly about creating a place where other fiber and textile artists in the Falls Church, VA and surrounding area could gather, learn, make, and source high quality materials for their crafty endeavors!
