Embroidery 101: No Experience? No Problem! Never picked up an embroidery needle before? Perfect. This workshop is for you. And if you've stitched before but want to brush up on the basics, you're welcome here too! In this 3-hour class, we'll walk you through setting up your hoop, threading your needle, and building your stitch vocabulary with skills like split stitch, stem stitch, French knots, and more! You'll leave knowing enough to practice until you're perfect or to start breaking the rules. And that’s entirely up to you! All supplies are provided and they're the good stuff. Premium cotton-linen fabric, beautiful embroidery thread, a quality hoop, needles, and Frixion markers for sketching your design. Registration and Payment: Full payment is required. Minimum Enrollment: Classes usually require a minimum number of students. If the shop cancels the class due to low enrollment you will receive a refund. Copyright Rules: If your class requires a book or pattern, each student will need their own copy. Books and patterns may not be shared per federal copyright law. Cancellations: To receive a full refund, registration must be cancelled 7 days before the class/workshop date. No Shows: No refunds or class makeups are given for not showing up for class. TINT Rescheduling/Cancellations: TINT reserves the right to cancel, change dates/times and change instructors due to insufficient enrolment, scheduling conflicts, or emergencies. TINT also reserves the right to cancel the registration or request the withdrawal of any individual from classes and events for reasons due to the health, safety, or welfare of the group or participant. Class Etiquette and Rules Show up on time. Be prepared. Be respectful of others. Turn off volume on cell phones. Take calls and texting outside. Be a good student. Have fun! Guests and Children: Unenrolled guests, children, or pets are not permitted in the classroom space. Scents and Allergies: Please avoid strong perfumes, lotions, foods with common allergens, or heavy products out of consideration for others with allergies and sensitivities.
