Marcus Fabrics Monk's cloth. This loose-weave, natural color 100% cotton is just the right weight for rug hooking, Punch Needle & Rug Hook  and hand embroidery, and the texture also makes a great base for appliqué. 

It's marked every 2" with a white woven thread to make easy work of counted stitch projects.
