Service Description
New year, new technique! Join us for the next Tint Stitch Club where we will be making a panel from Carolyn Friedlander's Everglade quilt. This class will focus on creating unique and exciting color combinations, pushing your creative boundaries, and exploring the ways you can add dimension to your craft through hand and machine quilting. We will learn how to prep blocks, audition fabrics, and needleturn applique. Stitch Club is moving towards a more instructor led model with additional time for each person to work on their project. We anticipate about two hours of instruction per session and one hour to work on your project and have questions answered. The class project will be to complete a 17" mini quilt made up of 4 appliqued blocks. You will pair fabrics, prep blocks, learn needleturn applique, make a quilt sandwich, and learn hand stitched quilt embellishments. All stitching in class will be by hand, so please bring your glasses! Stitch Club is suitable for adventurous beginners, age 15+. Meetings for this month will be Saturdays, 2/4 and 2/18, from 1pm - 4pm.
