Come learn how to make a quilted garland with Desi! In this class, we will learn how to make customizable quilted ornaments that you can use in a garland, as hanging ornaments, or as coasters. Class skills: Making a quilt sandwich Straight line quilting tips and techniques Hand stitching overcast stitches Attaching the ornaments to the garland This class will feature both machine and hand stitching! Participants must bring their own sewing machine and be capable of threading it and sewing a straight stitch. This class is great for beginners! All materials necessary to make the garland are included in the class fee. There is a choice of two colorways purple with black background or pink with burgundy background. Please let us know which is your preference. Please bring your machine, with black or tan bobbin thread, and a 90/14 sewing machine needle. If you have a walking foot, you can bring that as well, but it is not necessary.
Cancellations must be made a week or more prior to the workshop date in order to receive a full refund. No refunds or class makeups are given for failure to attend or cancellations within 2 days. If a class needs to be cancelled by TINT or the instructor, a full refund will be given to all students.
