Sashiko Stitching :: 1/30 (11a - 1p)

Learn the basics of a traditional Japanese embroidery style of reinforcement or decorative stitching called Sashiko (or "little stabs").  We'll talk about the techniques behind this newly popular form of hand-stitching and then stitch a colorful 12"x12" linen panel with cotton thread.  This class is beginner friendly and includes all materials needed (panel, thread, and sashiko needle).  Join us for a fun & meditative stitch-session.
